What is Akropolis?
Akropolis (AKRO) is a Polkadot powered decentralized finance (DeFi) investment platform and domain specific financial protocol powered by the Polkadot ecosystem, enabling users to automate yield generating strategies while providing a simple onboarding process for retail and institutional clients transitioning to decentralized finance. Using Akropolis, developers can build decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) and launch secure, scalable projects using OpenZeppelin SDK. Akropolis offers an easy to navigate suite of yield optimization strategies and products via its network of interest providers including Yearn Finance, Curve, Balancer, Uniswap, AAVE, and dYdX.
By aggregating multiple different yield farming and yield generating pools in one interface, Akropolis offers users a simple and easy to navigate interface to manage pooled assets with an automated dollar-cost average (DCA) strategy to maximize gains for long term portfolios. Akropolis utilizes a token buyback and burn program as a deflationary mechanism, allowing AKRO token holders to participate in protocol-level governance and accumulate value from fees and underlying asset utility while mitigating risk of inflation.
