What is Decentralized Social?
DESO is the native asset for DeSo social blockchain and cryptocurrency for the decentralized social media platform BitClout. Users can reserve usernames and upload content using Twitter-like profiles to share posts and interact with other users by liking, reclouting, commenting, and tipping using platform native currency Diamonds. DESO is also used to create and purchase custom social tokens and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to be sold to other users on the platform. Social token creators determine the percentage of each token sales to be taken in commission from each transaction.
