What is DRX Token?
DRX is a comprehensive project focusing on sports in Asia, integrating blockchain technology to revolutionize sports engagement and fan experiences. With a native cryptocurrency, DRX Token, the project supports various initiatives that foster community participation, sports sponsorship, and user interaction through gamification and unique membership perks.
DRX Token was founded by Kashish Mony Topandasani and Sanjev Vengada Rama. It originated from DRX Wear, an apparel company specializing in soccer jerseys. One of the major challenges in the sports industry is counterfeit merchandise, which significantly impacts the revenue of sports clubs. DRX Wear addresses this issue by integrating NFC technology into jerseys, allowing owners to scan and verify the authenticity of their apparel.
Beyond tackling counterfeit products, DRX Wear also aims to support young athletes, another pressing concern in the industry. Since its inception, DRX Wear has collaborated with five Liga 1 clubs in Indonesia—Dewa United, Madura United, Persik Kediri, PSIS Semarang, and PSM Makassar—along with one Liga 2 club, PSKC Cimahi. In 2024, DRX Wear also became the official apparel provider for Indonesia’s national pencak silat team.
Expanding beyond apparel, the co-founders also developed DRX SportNet, a comprehensive sports application for Indonesia. This platform offers live reports, real-time news, and a verification system for DRX jersey owners to authenticate their products.
DRX Token serves as the final piece in this ecosystem, connecting the sports and cryptocurrency industries. It focuses on gamification and problem-solving within the sports sector. DRX Token has introduced two interactive games: the DRX Token Telegram Mini Game and the DRX Token Penalty Game. Players can earn points by participating in these games, completing quests, and inviting friends, which can then be converted into DRX Tokens. Additional utilities of DRX Token include DRX Heroes Fund, Infinity Club, and SportSphere, further enhancing its role in revolutionizing the sports industry.
