What is Prosper?
PROS is the native utility token for Prosper, a retail-oriented decentralized application (DApp) with the goal of providing the world's first prediction market with on-chain liquidity aggregation. Prosper offers many advantages to other prediction market providers, including custom user-owned prize pools, liquidity programs with stablecoin income, unique prediction insurance system, fiat integrations and cross-chain asset support. When placing a prediction, users may reserve an amount of PROS tokens to insure their prediction. The maximum amount of reserved tokens is 10% of the user prediction amount and each prize pool has its own insurance fund. At the moment of reward distribution, 15% of the prize amount is given to the pool's insurance fund and distributed linearly to users who lost their predictions based on their amount of reserved PROS.
