What is Hydra Ledger?
Hydra (HYD) is the native coin for Hydra Ledger blockchain, providing decentralized permissionless infrastructure for self-sovereign identity with support for side chain integration to allow for the creation of decentralized applications (DApps), smart contracts and independent blockchains to be developed within the Hydra Ledger system. Hydra Ledger uses a SHA256 hashing algorithm with Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus algorithm and support for timelock based tokens and wallets, atomic swaps, multisig contracts, VC (verifiable claims), SSI (Self-Sovereign Identity) HD Wallet, and DID (Decentralized Identifiers). Hydra SDK, Wallet, API and Command Line Tools allow developers to create streamline user experiences with support for the programming languages Rust and AssemblyScript. Hydra blockchain allows for the complete management of ownership rights, credentials, and user access levels, with advanced features to replace common Enterprise Resource Planning and supply chain management systems with digital rights management functionality with use case including patents to fine grained royalties based on contracts in a given space for a defined time period.
